We are an independent speciality coffee roaster and green coffee importer certified Smithsonian Bird Friendly. We buy from farms we have personally visited or have a direct connection with.

Our coffee beans are freshly roasted weekly at our roastery in Norwich using clean energy. Choose from our two ranges:

Sheard Coffee - 100% farm direct coffees from farms we have established relationships. These are coffees that are perfect for espresso, care for the environment and carry the Smithsonian Bird Friendly certification.

Symposium Coffee - limited release speciality coffees that are perfect for filter, highlight different processing methods and coffee varieties.

Our focus is on providing consistent, high quality roasted coffee beans for you, your cafe, restaurant, office or any other business where coffee is needed. 

Steven began this company when he was studying Philosophy in London. Since moving back to Norwich to be closer to his family he has built his own roastery, investing in an electric roaster that runs on entirely clean energy as opposed to gas, and state of the art packaging facilities. He is helped by his Wife, Catriona who is a soil microbiologist at the John Innes Centre, and hindered by their puppy Penny.
